Pardon me for not mincing words, but smoking is just plain
stupid. 
A patient I'm nursing stubbornly refuses to be on Oxygen, and his
saturation remains bad. He asked me why once, I simply asked,
"Well, are you a smoker?"
There, your answer.
Maybe I'm hard-hearted but if you smoke like a chimney, and then
end up living the last few years of your life gasping for air like
a goldfish out of water, I kinda won't feel sorry for you cause you
knew the consequences, and went ahead anyways so well, you just
have to live with the consequences!
